Our humble beginnings
Mount Pleasant FWB is nestled in beautiful Putnam County, Tennessee. Our church was originally established in 1908 as United Baptist. In 1930, WP West and the church joined the Original Stone Association, becoming Freewill Baptist. We carry forward a rich legacy of faith and community.
Our core beliefs
At Mount Pleasant FWB, we welcome all who seek to know God. We believe that Jesus Christ came, died for our sins, and rose on the third day, conquering death. Through him, we can find salvation and eternal life. Our faith is built on love, grace, and redemption.
